Today will be a quick blog - sometimes you have work with the pictures taken today.

We had an appt this afternoon, so we had to pick him up at the Cross Plains location of Little Red Preschool - it is in the basement of a church. It was during quiet time, so the lights were low, and I needed a picture for the blog. This is what I got.

Later today, he likes to use this particular sequin pillow to draw stuff out. This is the Statue of Liberty.

Right now, we're packing for a quick getaway this week to Isle Royale. We planned this trip on January 25, so when you pay the money back then, you're kind of committed, rain or shine. Tickets for the three of us on the Sea Hunter III boat are $298 (still cheaper than buying your own Lake Superior seafaring boat).

When I look at Isle Royale on the map, it is directly straight north of where we currently are....well, we can always map it out - about 330 miles north of us.

Just need some supplies at Woodman's and we'll be ready to head out in the morning.
