When we got to school today, he was interested in going up the stairs backwards. 

We barely got to school on time, but at least we have company, as Millie and Elinor also get to school right before the bus was ready to leave. This time the bus took them to the Spring Harbor playground. It is one of the mysterious playgrounds we don't know about.

In the evening, Heidi's friend Renata, who we had not seen for at least five years, came by to grab an old highchair she gave us. This was one of the items we were looking to remove from our basement.

We had decided on a s'mores party to get us caught up. I spoke with Ardro around 4PM while Kai was at camp yet, and he seemed a bit interested in joining us as well. I don't think he had s'mores before.

I think after he figured it out, he got excited. He would burn the marshmallow, but then remove the burned skin, and then put the rest of the gooey marshmallow on the chocolate and make the s'more.

He didn't have dinner yet, so s'mores was a very welcome appetizer for him.

At the end, we told Kai and Ardro that we were done with marshmallows, ...then Ardro took the stick and put the Hershey bar over the fire. I've never seen anyone do this before.

When he was all done, he put the stick in his mouth to lick it off. It was an entertaining evening.

After the kids were done with s'mores, they ran up to the playground again. They each took to the swings to pretend they were blasting off to distant moons. Ardro can name at least a dozen of the moons on Jupiter and Saturn.
