 Today is the first day of no childcare since mid-June. The temperatures were hot, so our best choice, and seemingly the best choice of everyone was the Black Earth Children's Museum. The museum is much cheaper than Madison's museum, and they are open today.

Since this is a voting year, there was a place to vote for best dog or cat.

He chose the write-in for cat - a Lion.

Here are some photos of our time at the museum.

We drove up to Rice Lake after our haircuts. We saw a wall of clouds, and raced to see if we could make it up there before the storm.

Right as we got there at 8:55, the power cut out. There were really strong winds, and the power went out. We did the best we could with flashlights.

Power came back on at 10:30. We'll see what Tuesday brings.
