Less than 50 days of summer vacation left. Good thing today was a fun one. I forgot to tease that they were seeing a magician at the Monona Terrace today. It was James the Magician, our favorite local magician.

it would have been a fun day to join them on the trip today

After magic, they had lunch and a tour of the terrace, as well as this fun picture at the top.

Since it was not raining at night, we finally got a chance to enjoy the evening. Kai has been gravitating to chalk lately, but I think Ardro is getting bored of it.

I was able to convince them to go to the basketball court for a little bit and then up to the playground.

They had fun both being on the same side, but still weighing less than me on the teeter totter.

This might be one of the last nights for fireflies. We took advantage of the opportunity to grab a few and put in plastic bottles. They are not inside their bedrooms, hopefully making some light at night.

Sometime in May, I completed the Junior Ranger program for New River Gorge National Park. Normally you complete the program while at the park (we were there on March 29), but this one we took home, completed it, and mailed it in. Instead of a real badge, you get one that is a sticker. It was a bit of a letdown, but still fun that we got something back.
